This interactive session will acquaint attendees with the landmark Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and its recently modernized federal rules to demonstrate how agencies providing direct services to people with vision loss are well-positioned to partner with financial institutions in both meeting banks' CRA expectations and growing agencies' capacity, program quality, and community outreach. Participants will walk away with ready-to-deploy strategies proven to optimize mutually beneficial relationships between community-based organizations and both large and small players in the financial services sector. 

Mark Richert, Esq., President of Excelsis, LLC, a public policy and strategic leadership consultancy, has more than a quarter century's experience serving national organizations of and for people living with vision loss, most recently having been invited to serve as Interim Executive Director for AER (Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired).
